So I quit my job…

…Okay so it’s not as bad as it sounds. But calling this post ‘I quit one of my jobs but still have another one’ doesn’t sound quite as interesting. Anyway, that’s besides the point. Some people might think it’s a strange think to do quitting a job, even if it is my second job, when I’m trying to save thousands to travel round the world. Well it is a little but there are a few reasons behind it. Mainly the transport. It would take me 3 hours to get to work and back and sometimes I’d be there for only 2 or 3, it just wasn’t worth it in the end. It got me through the winter and I am in a good position to now rely on my main job working full time at a castle, which is pretty fun as it happens.

I also decided that since I am leaving and have no set date to return, it would be quite nice to actually spend time with people before I leave so this also swayed my decision.

I’ll keep this post short, in fact I have pretty much covered the necessary information. The story here is that your own time is just as important as saving every penny to go away. You still need to live and don’t feel bad for doing it!
